Here's a little information about me. I have three grown and successful children who were raised. During their early years, I volunteered at their schools, taught Sunday school, coached, among other things in addition to all the duties of running a home. During their teenage years managed the trials and tribulations of these challenging years. Previously worked in Medical Transcription field and then as a dental assistant. Decided to look for new career, child care seemed a natural. My first child care position began in August, 2014. This young couple has two children, girl 14 months and boy 6. The mother interviewed several others for this position but she said she chose me as she felt I would be a nurturing and loving person for their little girl. They are a nice family and a wonderful position. Took care of children's laundry and then just did family's. Would help with Read more some cleaning if having an event or family party. The little girl and I would go to park, library, meet another sitter, art projects, not just tv! Unfortunately as it happens all too often, the husband will be transferred in May of 2016. So, I am looking for another position. I enjoyed playing with and enriching the children's lives. From coloring, Play-Doh, trips to library, (Indian Prairie and Clarendon Hills), the zoo, and children's recreational centers. I am mature, dependable, punctual, and sincerely enjoy caring for the children. Updating today! Have since taken care of family of 3, 6 month old, 26 month old and 6 years old. Am taking care 11 month old boy now but only 3 days a week, darling boy but need more hours. (Also have a 11 month old granddaughter) Will not let me change availability, it is until 2020, tho' may be subject to change. Thank you, Susan
