My name is Elizabeth/Ellie for short. I am 25, CPR certified, love working with kids and have extensive experience in age groups 6weeks-15years. Since the age of 11, I have worked with churches in nurseries, taught both children's church and Sunday school. I babysat and nannied for families throughout high school and all of my college/university years. I was a literacy tutor for AMERICORPS for PreK-3rd grade for 2 years while in university. I also nannied regularly for two families who also both owned cats that I would pet sit while the families vacationed. I was a mentor for Middle and High school students in the Dubuque area; I helped with homework and focused on college/work success attitude and goal setting. I have worked in libraries for over 5 years in both adult and children's departments and I ran a daycare literacy outreach through the public library in Dubuque and Read more traveled to the surrounding daycares to provide Storytime and craft for the kids during my summers when school was out. The largest family I nannied for regularly had 7 children ranging from 2 months-9years; I helped with homework, meal prep, light cleaning, and errands. I have reliable transportation that seats 7 with ample trunk room for strollers and other childcare needs.
