I've been a nanny/babysitter since I was 18. I'm now 35 years old and I have a 6 (almost 7) year old son. I've always enjoyed interacting with kids and caring for them. Prior to them I was with a family in Texas who have 2 little girls. They were ages 2.5 years old and 5 months old when I started. I worked for a year with them. I have other references from Illinois as well. My son used to go to work with me and I was lucky to find families who were kind enough to allow that. Now he is in school all day so its not longer a neccesity but I still would like to find families who wouldnt mind if i needed to for all the random days off of school, however I know it's not for everyone so I would understand and have care for him. I've cared for all ages from 6 weeks old to 14 years. I've also worked in a daycare in the infant room and toddler room. Helping to care for 12-20 kids at once. I enjoy doing crafts with the kids and going outside. I have my own reliable car and am non smoking. I also enjoy taking care of pets so if you have any that's not a problem. Hello Families! I am an experienced nanny looking for a part-time position, in your home or mine. I have a two-year-old daughter who will be in my care as well. During college, I worked as a nanny for four great families. Soon after graduation, I was married and had my first child. I transitioned into providing child care for other families with my daughter in tow, and with her I worked for two wonderful Crystal Lake families. On a typical day, you might find us visiting a park, taking a long walk, or bathing in a kiddie pool. Indoors and during cooler weather, we enjoy reading daily, visiting a local library (we often sign up for story-time), dancing to music, crafts for older kiddos, and sensory activities for those that are younger. If in your home, I typically take on light cooking and housework, such as laundry, vacuuming/sweeping, and dishes. Hello! I'm a current college student at the University of Illinois at Springfield. I am studying Social Work with a minor in Child Advocacy. During the school year, I work at the campus daycare. Since 2023, I typically worked with infants to three years. I have experience with all ages and have volunteered at after school programs. As of 2021, I have worked at The Centre of Elgin.
