Just graduated college and looking to find meaningful ways to impact children in the community. In terms of experience, I have professionally worked on and off with children for the past 8 years. I’ve led multiple local children’s theatre programs for ages 5-12, teaching dancing, music, and performance. Last summer, I worked with special needs children at a park district summer camp. This included monitoring 10+ children at a time, planning field trips, and providing specialized medical care. Prior to that, I worked in the public library system, specifically in the children’s wing, creating educational content and participating in reading programs. For training and additional skills, prior to my BS, I worked in emergency medicine and obtained an Ambulance certificate which required in depth CPR and First Aid knowledge.
