Hi Parents! I am the proud mother of 2 older kids and will be happy to take care of your kiddo(s) while you work or take a night off - as parents, we all need some time off even if just for a date night! I am looking for PT, FT, or on a needed basis. I can help your family no matter what! Some of the tasks, as your nanny, I can perform for your family will be: - Monitor your kiddo(s) at ALL times. As a teacher, I joke that I have eyes at the back of my head! - Provide feedings according to your desired schedule/times. - Adhere to strict safety measures for your son or daughter. - Perform basic tasks such as checking temperature as needed or providing medication. - Provide tender loving care by rocking and holding your baby. - Provide personal hygiene which includes bathing, Read more skin care, dressing, undressing, and diaper changes for infants and toddlers. - Maintain a clean and orderly environment for your son or daughter - i.e. washing bottles, cleaning play floors. - Sing, play and have fun with him or her. No tablet zone here! I will teach your child numbers, colors, shapes, work on the puzzles or make art projects with older kids - arts and crafts are my jam plus they build tactile skills! I will read for your child and make sure he or she will read back to me. As a mother I can promise you that I will take care of your treasure as they would be mine. I used to work in Chicago Public Schools and I have references as a nanny and a teacher. I hope to find a position in the Edison Park, Oriole Park, Norridge, or Park Ridge area. Hannah is now our backup caregiver for when our regular nanny is unavailable. She hasn't watched our boys yet but when she came to meet them and see how their routine works she was very engaging and they liked her immediately. She asked really good questions and was even more attentive to safety risks than we are. I'm so glad we will be able to call her when we need someone!
