My name is Victoria, and I am a professional and experienced nanny currently seeking a FT summer position. I'm also always looking for PT and occasional babysitting gigs. I am currently a student at Northeastern Illinois University, majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Child Advocacy and Women's and Gender Studies. I may teach in the future, or remain a nanny until I'm old and gray...I absolutely adore children and love what I do, so regardless of which career route I choose to take, children will be at the core of it! I have a combined 14 years of babysitting, nanny and house manager experience, am regularly CPR/First Aid certified, and have experience working in a nanny-share position, as well as working with up to four children at a time (newborn-15 years). I also have prior experience working with children that have severe allergies, dietary issues, metabolic disorders, ADHD, Sensory Read more Processing Disorder, and am familiar with using an Epi-pen and managing diets. I drive a safe vehicle with valid insurance, have a clean drivers record and can pass a background check with flying colors! I try to constantly offer fun and educational age-appropriate activities to the children that I work with---we stay busy and your children will always be learning. I am also a very organized person and will help out where and when I can. I'm largely an initiator and I don't require hand holding! If you're out of milk, I've no problem grabbing more. I'm all for hosting playdates, finding fun places to go to, activities to do, and overall just making sure that you and your children are happy with my care. I have excellent references as well!
