I am currently a second year graduate student in the art education department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I am getting my K-12 teacher certification. I have a degree in photography and art history from New York University, and I am currently an apprentice teacher at two different schools - Ogden Elementary and Walter Payton College Prep. Besides my time spent in schools, my experience with children includes babysitting kids ranging from newborn to middle school, as well as teaching figure skating lessons. Some of my other interests include metalsmithing and jewelry design, learning about and cooking Southeast Asian food, and distance running. I also love animals, so if you have pets that is a big plus for me!
