I am a student at the University of Chicago who misses her family back home. A position as a caregiver would allow me to cope with the absense of children while escaping the stresses of university life. In the past, I have spent summers with families with children of all ages. One such family who hired me as a daily caretaker had four children: a two year old, a third grader, a sixth grader, and a fifteen year old with severe autism. This family was one of my primary families who I spent entire workweeks with. I have spent time as a caretaker for several other families whose children's ages range from infant to young teen. As I mentioned earlier, I also have a large family with a number of younger children so I have spent a significant percentage of my life caring for kids.
