Hello Families, I have 15 years of experience working with children of all ages. In my early years, I have worked in summer camps, after-school programs, and babysat for multiple families. I am now a stay at home mom with my daughter (1 years old) in the Lake View area. Having my Bachelors degree in Applied Behavioral Science an a Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm currently an online Grad Student at Walden University working on a Masters in Social Work. I am very committed to furthering my education, an I look forward to expanding my experience in childcare/health. So, what would make me a great fit you ask? During my Nanny career I've worked full-time for three families and part-time for over a dozen on an occasional basis. Along with one-on-one hands on experience, I also have group setting experience. My passion in life is to work with children between the ages of new born to 10 years of age. I strongly believe in guiding and helping children toward the positive road in life. I enjoy watching children learn and observe things as they grow. I enjoy walks to the park, reading books daily, going to various museums and even scheduling fun play dates. When it comes to early learners (Newborns- 1years old), I enjoy doing Tummy time, reading, singing and a lot of one on one hands-on play time. I must say, that what I love doing the most with Early learners, is making them feel as safe and secure as possible while they explore and learn more and more about the world on a daily . This past year, I've spent majority of my time with my daughter and studying. As of now, my goal is to start as soon as possible in hopes of a family providing me with the option to bring my daughter along with (until she starts daycare this fall). I truly believe it would be beneficial for our early learners when it comes to social development, following a similar schedule as a daycare an a safer environment health wise. Ideally 2-3 days a week (at least 20 hours) with a little flexibility would be amazing. I’m also willing and able to provide a background check upon request.
