Thank you for taking time to visit my profile! In addition to being a mother for 26 years...I am licensed in the State of Illinois for day care & foster care. And also have my credential as a Child Development Associate (CDA). We are not babysitters, but child care professionals and educators. At Creative Development our goal is to prepare your child for Kindergarten. Because each child is different, we observe and based on individual interest, develop methods to teach each child. We use age appropriate curriculum and provide lots of opportunity for "creative learning". There are educational, yet fun, field trips. Children have outside play (weather permitting) and nutritional meals (based on federal quality standards). The benefits of having a small group are: 1. The ability to provide individualized attention. 2. Younger children are subliminally exposed to the same materials as the older children (i.e. alphabets, phonics, colors, numbers). Read more 3.
