As someone who had only worked in an office before, I never expected that I would become a full time caregiver; even more than that, I never expected that I would love it so much! Five years ago I was in college and unemployed at the time. I had an old friend from the neighborhood who knew this and was coincidentally looking for someone to watch his daughter a few days a week. Long story short, I started off babysitting only three days a week to five years later babysitting five days a week, ten to twelve hours a day. I have experience watching multiple children at once, with ages ranging from newborn to six years old. I have no official training or certifications but I have learned so much over these past five years, not only about children but about myself as well.
