Hello everyone, Spending time with young ones is my all-time favorite thing to do. They bring me so much joy and I'm really looking forward to getting some more youthful energy integrated into my life. I love to spend time with kids in ways that feel nurturing, imaginative, creative, joyful, safe, loving, & FUN! I have 15+ years of childcare experience and 10+ years of teaching experience. I've received formal training as a literacy, arts, and outdoor educator. I was a high school journalism teacher for 6 years and really got to love up on some amazing teenagers. Currently I teach at Marwen and Olive Tree Arts Network, both arts education nonprofits in Chicago. I've taught my own healing arts workshops for youth through after school enrichment programs. I've also been a substitute teacher at a synagogue for their after school youth program. Maya has been a fantastic sitter for our two kids. They are very reliable and created a lot of fun with our kids! They were fantastic taking care of our littlest who unexpectedly became sick once while we were gone. Our kids love Maya!

Maya is such a great sitter!!! She is always available when we need her, and she is always on time or a little early which is great! Our daughter loves when Maya comes and watches her. She is definitely someone that I trust with my daughter since I am a very picky parent.
