Hi there my name is Zandi and I have always loved being around children! Growing up in such a large family I have always found joy in helping my mom take care of my brothers and I knew as I got older that I enjoyed taking care of others. I love making people smile especially kids. Starting from a young age with babysitting my brothers or family friends I knew babysitting was something I not only enjoyed but was good at. When I graduated high school I actually got a summer job as a swim instructor and lifeguard and I loved that job because I got to work with children (one being special needs) and I got to see them progress throughout the summer. It was also cool to see my students while I was lifegaurding too because they were always so excited to show me their moves they had Read more been learning throughout the week and that always made me feel good that they were so excited to show me how much they had learned. I love being the one that a child looks up to. Makes me feel good and makes me feel like I am doing my part in this world. I am very high energy and love to be outside and exploring. From playing tag to days at the beach or going on a walk to reading inside on a stormy day I enjoy it all! I am very adaptable and approachable. You’ll hardly ever see me without a smile on my face and I want to spread that smile to everyone around me . Some of my experience with childcare or children in general includes being a babysitter in my teen years to being a full time nanny to a family I have know for the past ten years. I actually got the pleasure of growing up on the same street with this family and over the years we have become very close and they have always taken me back as their nanny even when I moved out of state for a few years and came back to Chicago they hired me again. I personally think that speaks volume. Sadly their children are getting old enough to not need a nanny as often and so I am on the search for a family that is looking for a fun and adventurous nanny who is caring and sweet and Have a good day!
