School social worker looking for summer employment. I am finishing my fifth year social worker (CPS 4 yr, charter 1 yr, intern 1 yr). The school year for CPS ends June 7th. I will be available from then until the beginning of August. Years of teaching Social Emotional Learning. Currently, hold a masters degree in school social work, PEL, and can work with grades k-12. I have experience working with ages k-12 in the school setting. I worked three years in the foster care system, a temporary shelter for children under DCFS care, as well summer camp counselor and unit leader. I am CPR and first aid trained /certified and am comfortable with administering medication. I would love to continue working with kids during the summer and I enjoy doing fun activities with the kids. I am comfortable with pets but unfortunately, I am allergic to cats.
