My name is Lexi, and I've been working with kids for nearly ten years. I love everything from tutoring to visiting parks to baking cookies together with young people! When I was in college at the University of Michigan, I spent a great deal of my spare time outside of class volunteering for education outreach events for school-aged children, getting them interested in STEM with fun activities and workshops. I also babysat for family friends during that time. After I graduated college with degrees in biochemistry and chemical engineering, I decided that I wanted to become a math teacher. The last two years I've lived in Chicago, I've worked in a middle school tutoring 7th and 8th graders in math.
