Hi my name is Basia, I graduated May of 2018 with an Associate degree for Early Childhood Education and I’m currently in the works of pursuing my Bachelors. I have had the pleasure of working in various Early Childhood setting as I was a Teacher’s Aide for three years at a private daycare/preschool working with all age groups from infants to Kindergarten. I currently teach an amazing class of four and five year olds. I have also had the pleasure of being a regularly scheduled babysitter for mutilple wonderful families in the Chicagoland areas. My duties included making breakfast in the morning, getting children dressed and walking them to school, picking the children up from school, making dinner, and bedtime routines (bath,stories,etc). As well I've volunteered for different children events throughout the city and even cooked meals for the patients and families at the Ronald McDonald House. The privilege of Read more working with so many different age groups has definitely taught me a lot and I must say that I am grateful for these opportunities. Being able to be an aid in their development at such a young and/or important age gives me a sense of pride and responsibility that differs from working with adults. As an educators I am allowed to not only experience but help shape and mold their young minds as well as personalities and teach them creativity as they grow. When I’m not shaping young minds I enjoy hanging out with friends watching scary movies and finding amazing new taco spots in the city, I also love karaoke and I walk dogs in my spare time!! I look forward to meeting amazing families and creating new memories along the way. Thank you!
