Hello my name is Melissa. I majored in Special Education in college and worked in a day care setting for a few years. During those years in day care I was promoted to an Assistant Director and took on the responsibility of working closely with parents and making sure the needs of 100’s of children were met. My life took a different path and now I have the time to bring back in my schedule what I love to do, and that is being a part of teaching and nurturing children as they grow. I would have to say the one quality that stands out to me if someone asked me, what was my best quality, I would have to say patience. The next would be, I can juggle and handle, multi-task all schedules. I am creative and energetic, understanding, able to evaluate situations, outgoing when needed, but also a Read more good listener when it calls for. Looking to find a place that I can help a family and make a difference in the children's lives as well as the parents.
