I am 23 years old and I am from Brazil. I consider myself determined, loving, caring and responsible person. I am always open to learn and improve my skills, so I take well every suggestion made from others. I've been a nanny-live in in the U.S. for almost 2 years. I graduated in Brazil in Industrial Production Management, and I used to work in the quality field for a candy factory there. I came to the U.S. as an au pair in 2019 to live with a host family and take care of their kids while studying and traveling here. Since my Exchange Program has been most of the part during COVID I decided to apply for a Student Visa to be able to explore more the country and obtain a better education here. I love learning and I am really dedicated to it. Besides the Au Pair program, I’ve Read more been teaching English Classes virtually for a year for kids/ teenagers and adults who would not be able to afford classes in Brazil. It’s been a great experience. Talking about my experiences with kids I have 7+ years of experience with them from 3 months to 15 years old. I love being around kids and learning with them. I am experienced in following routines and learning with the kids how to make the day as easy as it can be for both of us. I am well prepared to deal with more than one kid at the same time and keep them on a schedule. I know that somedays kids are not on a good mood, so I understand, and I try to earn their trust being really patient, lovely and responsible, especially when they need me the most. Among my responsibilities with the kids, I've been taking care of them since they wake up until bedtime, so I have experience in preparing them food, changing their clothes, taking them to school, playing with them, helping with school activities, driving them to after school activities/ play dates or even to doctor appointments, putting then on bed and cleaning after them. With babies I am also experienced in changing diapers, feeding them, watching them closely and helping them to discover day by day new things. Although I current take care of 5- and 8-year-old kids, most of my experiences in Brazil are with babies. One of my cousins has special needs, so I also have experience with kids who has Motor Impairment. I also babysit two other babies here. They were 5 months when I took care of them during the summer.
