Hi, my name is Julia and I am offering child care and household services. I recently graduated from NYU with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education but I am currently taking off time from teaching. I student taught in pre-k through 2nd grade classrooms as well as worked at tutoring and head start programs across Manhattan and have plenty of experience working with children of a variety of needs, personalities and interests. I was also a summer camp counselor for 1st and 2nd graders and volunteered with the kids ministry at my family’s church as well as babysat for those family’s and have experience in a variety of settings! I am creative and enjoy finding new ways to engage children in play, work, and conversation and firmly believe the energy you give children is the energy they return so I like to keep things light and fun.
