Meet Winta

Hello, My name is Winta and I am 21 years old. I am currently studying Global Studies at university. Some fun facts about me are that my favorite color is green and I recently returned from studying abroad. I love to bike, bake, and volunteer. If I am not at school then I am most likely tutoring kids with Chicago- based organizations. I love working with kids and have been tutoring kids since I was a freshman in high school. I enjoy helping them work through problems especially when it comes to math. I have worked at summer camps, so I know how important it is to have activities to keep kids moving and active. I used to plan outdoor games and activities for kids ranging from the age of 5-12. If there is one thing I have learned is that kids are imaginative and love to come up with Read more their own games. As a student who was taken psychology, I know how important it is for kids' development. Also, being an active participant in my church we have a lot of kids and usually have to help the parents in watching the kids and helping them with activities such as easter hunt, birthday party, and other holiday events. The kids ranged from 6 months to 11 years old. As far as babysitting I used to babysit my cousins when I was younger aged from 7 months to 7 years old. Although it's been a while I am hoping to learn and go at a pace the family is comfortable with. All my experiences have taught me the art of patience, communication, and always being prepared for anything. I am excited to help in any way and to work with your family.
