I have a little brother who is currently 11 years old which I have taken care of in multiple occasions. I also volunteered in an after school program for the past year where I would tutor kids and then play games with them. I was also trusted to take these kids back home. This program taught me a lot about how to handle more than 2 kids at a time as they would range from ages of 5-12. That program was very enjoyable it made me realize how rewarding it feels when you can see the positive impact you’ve made on a child. I’ve also taken care of children in my outer family as my mom has been a babysitter for the past 5 years as well and I would help her when it got too hectic.
