Hi! I’m Eric — a medical student with years of hands-on childcare experience in both family and hospital settings. I’ve cared for kids of all ages, from newborns to teens, and have been an uncle since 14. I spent five years at the University of Chicago Medical Center cuddling and comforting babies in the NICU and engaging children in the playroom, then volunteered at Lurie Children’s Hospital supporting pediatric cardiac patients. Now, I help coordinate Rush University’s Buddies & Cuddlers program, training and scheduling volunteers who comfort infants and children. I also mentor high school students through my nonprofit, Sneakers to Scrubs, helping them explore medical careers. I love helping kids feel safe, calm, and happy — whether feeding an infant, reading stories, or organizing activities. I’m CPR and First Aid trained, fully vaccinated, and bring a dependable, caring presence to every family I work with.
