Hi! I’m a nanny/sitter with 20 YEARS of experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns. I’m always open to meeting new families! When caring for INFANTS, I focus on supporting their cognitive and physical development by making eye contact and talking to them, as well as playing with simple toys, reading beginner books, practicing tummy time, encouraging crawling, going for walks, and more! I also enjoy watching TODDLERS and OLDER CHILDREN, and I love incorporating FUN into every activity — whether it’s making special sound effects while playing with cars and trucks, using different voices during story time, singing and dancing to children’s songs, creating squishy shapes with Play-Doh, playing games, working on puzzles, visiting the park & library, or sharing hugs! In addition, I worked as a temporary teaching assistant at a CPS elementary school during the pandemic, where I interacted with students in preschool through eighth Read more grade. It was a great learning experience that deepened my understanding of child development across many age groups! Overall, I’ve been a trusted caregiver for many families, forging close relationships with parents and children. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’d love to hear more about your family’s needs!

We wanted Linda to help us care for baby girl in the morning hours and early afternoons. It's been great that she takes our girl outside for some fresh air especially since she enjoys being outside as part of her routine. Linda makes recommendations when we ask regarding our baby and tells us how our baby is doing when they go for walks and sit outside.

Linda cared for my son from the age of four months to one year old, providing loving, attentive care throughout. She followed my breastfeeding schedule when I worked from home and bottle-fed him on days I went into the office, carefully tracking his feedings, naps, and diaper changes using a baby app. Linda also kept me informed about her daily activities with my son, such as outings to the park and library. In addition, Linda encouraged and supported his language development through constant conversation and listening to children’s songs. During playtime, Linda made cute, funny voices for his stuffed animals. She also guided him when using simple puzzles, stacking Legos, playing with cars, and more! Linda prioritized his safety and well-being at all times, pointing out potential hazards and alerting me to a food-related rash around his mouth. We’re transitioning to an Italian-speaking au pair, so my son can learn another language, but we’ll deeply miss Linda. Any family would be lucky to have her as a nanny!

Linda watched my 6-month-old son on a full-time, temporary basis, until a spot opened up for him in daycare. Linda is fit and active, and she took great care of my son! She went on daily walks, played on the floor with him, and incorporated specific exercises she learned by attending my son’s physical therapy sessions. In addition, Linda closely followed our sleep-training methods to get my son to sleep longer in his crib. With her help, my son went from taking super-short naps to eventually sleeping more than an hour in the crib on his own. She read him books, sang children’s songs, and engaged in different types of active play. Overall, Linda was very loving and caring, and I heartily recommend her!

Linda has been watching my son since he was 10 months old. He is now almost 3. It is so comforting to know he is in good hands and it is clear she truly cares about him. She cooks him breakfast and lunch and keeps him engaged in various activities all day. She requires very minimal direction as she is a natural with children. We are so lucky to have found Linda.

I hired Linda in the fall of 2012. She watched my 3 month old son 3 full days a week. She was a great choice! She was wonderful with the baby and cared for him as I would have. When he was older they always went outside, went for walks, played games, puzzles, play dough etc. I had my second child in June of 2015, and when I went back to teaching in the fall, Linda watched both my 3 year old son and my 3 month old daughter. When my son was school aged she continued to watch my daughter. She continued to be very interactive with my daughter and even took her to her scheduled classes such as Kindermusic. This fall both kids are going to school. We will miss Linda as part of our lives. She always made sure she honored my requests for their care. She was fun and fully interactive with the kids. I highly recommend Linda as a sitter. She genuinely cares for the children and cares about her job.

Linda nannied for our son from 4 months to ~14 months, and we loved her! She is very detail oriented, sweet, honest and professional. Our son adores her and she is so good to him. She has been was willing to adapt to our parenting style, including entering daily activities on an app, sleep training and bottle feeding. Her and our son go on adventures to the park, and she has even wanted to take him to a Wiggleworms classes. She has a few decades of experience nannying for other families, who also gave her rave reviews. She is always on time, and has a very professional and positive attitude. She will want to do the best job for you and your family, and she will become a member of the family.
