Katie is your worst nightmare!! She is unreliable and non trustworthy and absolutely unprofessional and irresponsible. She deserves no stars! She was informed well in advance about our weekend plans and she just didn't show up on our most important weekend. My husband and I were throwing a summer party on Friday and had tickets to a show on Saturday. The weekend before this she tells us that she can't babysit our 5 year old because she has to go for a bridal shower in her family. I told her that its unacceptable since she knew about out commitments. It is not easy to find someone at the last minute because we use only one sitter exclusively for our Friday date nights and weekends. I told her that she definitely needs to come on Friday since we are the hosts and can't cancel the party. I will try to find someone for Saturday or let our show tickets go wasted. Nevertheless she said that she can't miss the family event and so she will not come on Saturday because the shower is on Saturday evening but agreed to come on Friday. I was able to have my old babysitter babysit our son on Saturday. But to our biggest nightmare, Katie didn't come on Friday either and said that she was on her way but she was doored by a car and the paramedics took her to the hospital and wont let her go. I think she lied through her teeth!! She had no intention of coming on both the days in the first place but she was not truthful about it. We think that she left for Indianapolis on Friday (like she wanted to originally). Our son had no choice but to sit around all by himself in an adult party and finally slept on a sofa in the party room. It is Monday evening and I have still not heard from her!
