Hello, My name is Rebecca and I am 30 years old and live in Roscoe Village. I have lived in Chicago since I graduated in 2005. I am looking for something a bit closer to home, as the family I'm with now are moving to the suburbs. Right now I watch Two toddlers. One girl is 18 months now and the other girl is 4 years old. I started watching them Jan 2016 and it's been suuuper fun! They are having another baby though now and need to ove to the suburbs to have more room for the baby. Super sad when I have to leave the families but I do like to keep in touch with the kids. Everyone likes pen pals :) I've also nannied for a two energetic Twin girls in Bucktown. When they are young things are changing so fast and I like to be apart of the whole process. I love going on adventures in this awesome city to all the different parks and libraries.  I even take them out when they are tiny tiny. It's good for them to be exposed and learn early/get them at least familiar with everything. Whole Foods has a free music class for all ages that's really nice. When it's hot, I like to draw with chalk, blow bubbles and go on imaginary safari hunts. My passion is being creative and making the games and crafts ourselves. I like teaching colors and numbers because they learn so quick and have tons of toys to help them learn. I am not a fan of having kids watch TV... I just think there are other ways they can be entertained. I'm able to make the kids healthy breakfasts, lunch and easy homemade dinners. I have lots of diaper changing and feeding newborn experience. I have 3 siblings, all whom I very much so helped raise, as my mother went through postpartum depression when my twin brothers were born. I volunteered all 4 years of highschool at Evangelical Free Church (Christian) as an Awana leader to K-2 grade. I have also been baby sitting for my cousin in Oak Park since she was pretty much born. She is 10 now. I ride my bike when it's warm outside but have a car. Transportation isn't a problem, especially if you are in a neighborhood nearby. I'm looking for a nice new family who I can grow with this year. I'm looking for 40-50 hours. I have experience going on vacations with families and I honestly don't call in sick :) I'd feel bad to put anyone in that position last minute! <3
