I have had a passion for working with children for over 12 years, starting when I was 13 years old and had my first babysitting job. I have continued to babysit kids from as young as 4months to as old as 14 and have worked as a camp counselor for three years. I have also worked in the MSU Child Development Lab during college. In 2012 I graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in psychology and then moved to Chicago for two years and took some graduate classes and taught preschool at the Jewish Community Center. Currently, I am teaching religious school and recruiting religious school teachers through Federation of Metro-Detroit. I am a very upbeat person with hobbies such as dance, softball, drawing, painting, and hiking. I love to have a good time, but recognize that at certain times it is important to be serious (i.e. homework, Read more chores--although we can still have fun with these!). Respect is of the utmost importance, right next to trust. I am available for last minute or occasional positions, as I am trying to make a career in the Jewish community, so my availability is somewhat open, but perhaps not permanent.
