Hello my name is Luz, usually the children I take care off call me Luzzy! I am 48 Years old. I am a mother of 2 girls aged 26 and 15, and one boy aged 19. I have 15 years years experience as a nanny. I do have letter of recommendations from my past families whom I still keep in contact with. I do have my own transportation, I am CPR Certified and I speak Spanish. I do understand and read English. I will be totally honest, I struggle a little speaking English but I do always find a way so Parents understand me. Whether is through google translate or writing it down. I am grateful for all those families I worked with who gave me the opportunity regardless of my English. I enjoy working with children because having the opportunity to see their young minds develop. I enjoy teaching children a second language, Spanish, teaching them numbers and shapes along with reading stories or even making up stories to make reading more enjoyable for them as they grow. I treat all children I care for like if they were my own. I love building that bond with children especially the parents to the point where it feels like were a family. I strongly believe communication is key and I keep in contact with parents with any issue or even sending pictures of activities the kids and I are doing together. I do not mind if parents work from home or have video surveillances in their home. I am a very open minded woman and I hope you may be interested in making me a candidate for the position.
