I have had the chance to care for children from as young as 4 months old, to as old as 14 years old. During my time babysitting, my responsibilities have included diaper changes, playtime indoors and outdoors, feeding meals, preparing children for school/daycare, and ensuring that meals are eaten and chores are done. I have also been responsible for escorting young children to and from weekly doctors appointments using public transportation. When needed, I have prepared meals and done light house work to assist parents with a busy work schedule. I have also learned how to assist young children in independently completing homework assignments through time management. I love to do crafts with kids, because I feel developing creativity at an early age is essential to development of motor and cognitive skills.
