I am a college student at Drake studying health sciences! I have been babysitting since I was 13 (paid babysitting/daycare work starting at 15). I have been CPR, First Aid, and AED certified multiple times. I worked as an after school aid for a daycare everyday for a year in high school where I worked with children of ages 5-10. I also have spent the last two summers babysitting my cousins toddler and preschooler. I spent a lot of time teaching the school work over the summer, coming up with fun non-technology activities, and preparing meals and snacks for them. I have plenty of experience handling tantrums and helping kids process their emotions while remaining calm and patient. I love kids because they are so innocent and look at the world in such a beautiful way and they always teach me new outlooks.
