When I was thirteen I began babysitting for the first time my younger cousin. He was the first of my cousins that I was older than and not even one when I started watching him for my aunt and uncle. Within three years they had two more kids, another boy and then a girl, and I would babysit them evenings during the school year and weekdays during summer until I graduated high school. Often my aunt would give my number to her friends and I would watch their kids as well. After college, I was a nanny/ to two 10 year old sisters for a couple years. Since then I have worked as a children's Librarian at a public library where I spend most of my time around young children.
