Hi, my name is Joey! I am a junior at Northern Illinois University looking for a summer job. I have previously worked with children ages 4-12+ through coaching tennis for the past few years with summer camps and private lessons. A little about me: I am originally from Minnesota, I play on the Women's tennis team at NIU, and I was born Deaf (I can hear with cochlear Implants since I was 1 year old). During the summers, I love to go to the pool, play sports, paint, and travel. Also, I love rainy days to watch classic Disney movies (it's what my roommates and I do all the time). I love working with children because even though sometimes they make yourself confused, they make everything fun! I think what would set me apart with kids is that I love all sports. I love photography and painting so I got you covered there and for sports I can teach them how to play tennis, soccer, even kung fu!
