Growing up in a family with a seven year gap between me and my next youngest sibling, I started watching children at a young age. I became Red Cross certified as a babysitter when I was 13 and began watching children of families from our church. When I turned 16 I took a job at Math and Learning Center, where I worked for over 2 years. While I was there I worked specifically in the Junior section, where I taught children ages 3-6 how to read and write. During my junior year of high school I began to volunteer in the nursery at Camp Moonhwa, an annual Korean cultural camp. Because of this camp most of the families I've worked for have been international families. I've babysat for many families that had two or more children. I've regularly watched children with an age range of 5 months-15 years. I've also Read more been able to watch a couple children with special needs, one a 4-year-old girl with Williams Syndrome and one a 15-year-old girl, so I'm comfortable with a wide age range
