We have found several awesome babysitters on this site. However, we had bad experience with Netta. I recently posted a position on Sittercity for a reoccurring, part-time babysitter job. Netta contacted me and expressed interest. Before we hired her, we wanted to interview her and let our two kids get to know her. After trading several emails and texts, Netta confirmed a meeting day and time. However, she cancelled our meeting unexpectedly at the last minute. She apologized and asked to reschedule our interview. Reluctantly, we rescheduled our meeting and met with her the next day. She was personable and seemed very interested in the position. However, she didn't interact much with our kids, which was a little concerning. She had a flexible schedule and a car, which was appealing. We gave her some dates when we needed help and paid her for her time. She texted us the next day and said that something had come up and she was no longer available. We need a sitter who is dependable, responsible, and reliable, and someone who enjoys being with our young kids. Although she was friendly and warm, based on our experience, I would not recommend Netta for a babysitting job.
