I believe that our imaginations are a very special gift that we have and it should be used as much as possible. I am a firm believer of engaging children in imaginative games and projects versus watching TV or playing video games. I have my bachelors from Bradley University in elementary, early childhood, and special education, and sociology. I currently teach special education at an elementary school in Skokie, IL. After a few years of teaching, I've started to miss being with kids outside of the school year. In the past, I've been very creative when working with kids, exploring the outdoors, making-up games, and just playing and having a fun time without the use of technology. I am interested in getting back into babysitting and just being and playing with kids. I am only available for late afternoons and evenings on the weekdays and anytime on the weekends. Kimberly took care of my 10 month baby and another 8 month baby and did a really good job. She was very friendly, happy and caring, as well as enthusiastic to play with the babies. She managed her responsibilities very well to handle both babies with diverse needs and different personalities. She kept us posted through text. Overall great!

Kimberly was just WONDERFUL with our 4-year son! They spent the day singing, crafting, playing and reading. Kimberly's communication skills are excellent. She responded to our inquiry immediately. She also met with us ahead of time to ensure a good match. Our boy has some sensory processing challenges. Kimberly's background in elementary and special education gives her a knowledge base and confidence that immediately put ALL of us at ease. She is kind, responsible, caring and thoughtful.
