Hi, I’m Katrina! Caregiving has been a part of my life since I was young, starting with my own siblings and growing into a professional passion. I have experience with children of all ages, including a lot of experience with multiple infants and toddlers. I have done CPR and Heimlich training, both for adults and infants. I cook, clean, and have been changing diapers since I was 6 (loved to help my mom). I’m a Northwestern grad who loves creating a nurturing environment through hands-on activities like baking, crafts, and outdoor exploration. My background includes years of nannying and even teaching science camp for grades 1-5. I’m just as happy helping with SAT prep or math homework as I am organizing toy rooms or leading the kids on a scavenger hunt through a nearby forest preserve to learn about our local ecosystem. I am a patient, experienced driver who truly Read more enjoys seeing kids grow and learn. I also am comfortable doing meal prep, laundry, and errands while making it into a fun adventure / activity for your children. I’d love to bring my "go-with-the-flow" attitude, love for the outdoors, creativity, childlike spirit, and diverse skill set to your home! I do work part-time teaching ski lessons, and have a couple other part-time gigs, but my schedule is very flexible. If it does change, I will still be available on weekends and occasional evenings for babysitting.
