Hi! My name is Amy and I am currently a 3rd year student at Rockford University. I am getting my degree in Early Childhood Education with a ELL and Special Ed endorsement. I have been working with children for about 7 years, with 3 of those years being in a classroom with ELL and Special Ed children. I have taken care of infants, children, and pets since I was 13 and I absolutely love it! I also worked in a hospital as a dietary aid for about 3 years, so I understand food safety. I am a certified mandated reporter, paraprofessional, and CPR/First Aid certified. I am currently a mini camp (ages 3-5) counselor for the DeKalb park district for the summer but I also am a one on one part time paraprofessional in a preschool classroom in Rochelle during the school year.
