My name is Ryan and I decided to pursue part-time and occasional childcare opportunities as I start my own cleaning business on the side. I would describe myself as responsible, observant, reliable, detail-oriented, driven and adaptable. Others have described me as kind, helpful and understanding. When it comes to childcare I prioritize safety and learning as well as frequent communication with guardians. I would say growing up with 5 siblings (with 2 of them being younger) was the impetus for developing many of the skills I have to care for and interact with children. They were further honed once my older sisters started their families. I moved to California for a year when my oldest sisters’ children were infant to toddler age and helped assist with their care as my sister and her husband were extremely busy people. My other sister had her newborn in 2023 and I’ve been a Read more regular sitter for their family since then. Aside from that I grew up accepting occasional babysitting jobs in high school for friends of our family whenever an opportunity came up, and more recently, I take care of my good friend’s 8-month old baby twice a month. I am open to all babysitting opportunities, from after school care to pick up/drop off duties. I know male sitters and helpers are not as common, but I can promise I’m just as dependable and trustworthy as my female counterparts as I grew up closely with loving and admirable women who taught me how to conduct myself just the same.
