Hi! My name is Rachel and Im looking for a babysitting job. I just graduated from Florida State University with a degree in psychology and child development. I have been babysitting for the past eight years and love it! Some activities I enjoy are walks, crafts and swimming. I am CPR and Lifeguard certified if you have a swimming pool. Some jobs I have worked have been a camp counselor, teachers aid and paraprofessional in a special education school along with nannying. During the school year I tend to babysit more due to the flexible schedule! I hope to find a family that I can help out.

I am a full-time nanny living in Chicago and I also provide babysitting services on occasion.  I have been helping with childcare for my family since I was 12 years old, as the eldest of five children, three of whom are active boys. I’ve also owned cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and a cockatiel named SpongeBob! Although I am no "spring chicken" so to speak, don’t let my age deter you. I am high energy and fit, working 50-60 hours a week caring for children. On the weekends, when I’m not working, you’ll find me running around the dog show ring, or practicing agility. My current 7 month old Kasha, is working on her AKC obedience titles. She has some big paws to fill! I have a Law Enforcement/Animal Control Officer, a Medical/ Medical Computer Systems background and have also worked in the Corporate world. All of those jobs I really enjoyed. But I’m completely happy and comfortable in a private/domestic setting taking care of children and managing a household. I excel at ensuring that the household is running smoothly, and I like putting my excellent organizational skills to work. It is a very gratifying experience for me. To be successful, there needs to be teamwork and open communication. I’m a firm believer in consistency and structure...  I’m professional, comical, considerate of others, a bit of a neat freak and a little bit of a workaholic; and 100% dependable!
