I have been babysitting since late middle school/early high school and have a ton of experience with children of all ages - from newborn to middle school age. Just to give you some background, in high school and college I nannied for families, was a camp counselor/swim instructor/lifeguard, assistant camp director, taught cooking classes for kids, and later started volunteering with a Down Syndrome clinic. Post college (I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Wellness) I have worked with special needs, managed group homes, lead programs for dementia care, and most recently ran a township’s youth programs for a few years, including camps and after school programs. In that position I also taught classes for children teaching them how to be safe at home and first aid with babysitting training. I am very involved with the young adults ministry at my church and love serving people. I Read more adore children and take caring for them very seriously. I have a loving and nurturing personality, but can also be goofy and adventurous.
