I became a babysitter when I was 15. I had a babysitter growing up that I adored. She would take us on fun day trips, and help with any problems for me or my sister. I realized that I also wanted to be someone that the kids would enjoy watching them for the day. My first job was babysitting four girls ranging from ages four to eleven. I would go to their house Monday-Friday during the summer from 7 A.M to 5 P.M. I was always willing to stay later or come earlier. I would drive them to the pool about 15 minutes away from their house or on rainy days we would stay inside and play board games. During the school year, I babysat them on school nights and weekends whenever I was needed. We would go on walks around the block and stop at the library or the park. At home she enjoyed playing barbies and going on her trampoline. Spending time with these kids improved my day because it gave me the opportunity to be a role model.
