Hi, my name is Alisha. I just graduated from DePaul University with a major in sociology and concentration in health and human services. I am enrolled this coming fall in a graduate program at UIC: Jane Addams College of Social Work in pursuit of my MSW. I hope to work with children and families in an urban setting directly after that. I have been babysitting since middle school and have had many jobs involving child care. I have a passion for working with kids, and I have for as long as I can remember. I've worked at summer camps to interning at daycare centers to being a part-time nanny. I just finished a year long internship with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Cook County which is a phenomenal organization that seeks to train volunteers to become court certified to be the eyes and ears of the court/judge on cases Read more involving child abuse/neglect. I would love the opportunity to utilize my skill set and passion for working with children by working with you and your family. I look forward to getting to know you and believe I can meet the needs of your family.
