I have quite a lot of experience in this field. I ran a State licensed Home Daycare Facility for almost 8 years in the state of Illinois. I cared for children ranging in ages infant to 12 years of age. I did the meal planning and activities, along with potty training and scheduled fun outdoor activities as well. I had many of the children from the time they were just toddlers until they went to kindergarten and then had them in an after school program. They became like family to me. I got to know their families as an extended family. It was very hard to see them leave. I took CPR and First Aid training every year to keep my skills up as needed, and it soon became second hand to me. I feel I have the maturity and patience that comes with handling more than one child and Read more a scenario of situations. I attended college at the University of Green Bay, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Majoring in Music Education, and Love to integrate any kinds of arts, music, painting, playing and creatively with the children. I am a grandmother of 4 beautiful grandchildren ages 3,5,8 and 12yrs of age, and have helped them to be loving, bright children, and have watched them on many occasions during their growing periods. I feel I would be an asset to any family because of my loving, nurturing and experienced background.
