I have been working in schools as a paraprofessional for 3 years working primarily with special needs students. I also coach high school and college age students over the summer. I am passionate about child care because it is important for children to get the support and care that they need. I also enjoy being a positive influence on kids' lives and helping families. I prefer to do more than just let the kids watch TV and play video games all day. I enjoy being able to do puzzles and crafts and go out for outings if the parents allow it. I am a certified paraprofessional and substitute teacher so I am comfortable helping with school work!
