I am the second oldest of 9 children in my family. I started babysitting around the age of 13. I have had experience with children of all ages from newborns through 12 years of age. I was employed at Smart Start Learning Center for a few months last summer. I gained many skills including how to interact with different children with a wide variety of personality. I very much enjoyed creating bonds with each child while teaching them new things and watching them grow. During my time at the daycare, I taught children different skills each day. I would play with them, teach them ABC's, numbers, sounds, animals, colors and many other basic skills important for growth. I also was a part of making sure they were fed properly and were allowed a reasonable amount of time to take a nap.
