With 8+ years of babysitting experience, I've worked at an after-school daycare program, as full-time nanny the past few summers, and as a regular babysitter for local families during the school year. My experience spans from infants to 6th graders, including children with special needs including autism, non-verbal communication, and a range of behavioral challenges. I have a unique perspective on special needs care due to my close relationship with my 10 year old brother. He was fostered and adopted as a newborn and is currently diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder, ADHD, and a generalized anxiety disorder. With trauma and drug exposure in utero he was diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder and ADHD. I prioritize creating a positive, nurturing environment for every child in my care.
