Hi there, my name is Sarah and I am 30+ years old with over 20+ years of experience in early childhood education. I started out being a mothers helper for my moms friend as I was only 11. This took me into my first baby sitting job. From there the family recommended me to other families and there started my true love for child care. Taking classes in high school while babysitting only lite my passion for children. Studying early childhood education got me my associates degree while still babysitting and working at my first child care. Kindercare Learning Center was my first full time job in the field. I worked for 5 years, as an infant and toddler teacher in WI, until it was time for me to come back to IL which lead me to a full time nanny job in Evanston IL. I was a full time Read more nanny for 2 young children which turned into 3 children for six years before the parents divorced and moved to AK. Both parents had high profile jobs and which left me working 50+ hours a week and over nights when they were traveling. Currently I work for a child care center were I started as a toddler teacher and now am on the administration team. I have my Bachelors degree in Child Development and am of course CPR and First Aid certified. I was born and raised in Mount Prospect which is where I live now. My parents live 4 miles away, my brother and his family of five live less than a mile from me. I grew up with strong family values that I still carry with me today.
