I'm a mother of two college daughters living with my family in Mount Prospect and working as an Early Childhood Special Education classroom teacher in a public school. I'm also Montessori certified teacher and worked in private school for many years prior to obtaining master degree in special education 0-6 years old. I'm an outdoor person with a holistic approach towards raising and educating young children. I believe that the children should play in order to develop their skills and I'm willing and used to sitting on the floor while interacting with children. I'm sensitive to the needs of a young child and able to help in all areas of their development, especially social emotional. As a Montessorian, I practice "following the child" and through observation, modeling, and gentle guidance, I can help your child learn in math, language, science, and practical life areas.
