Hi there! My name is Sarah, I am currently a sophomore at Hope College in Holland, Michigan currently studying Exercise Science with plans to pursue Occupational Therapy. I graduated from Naperville Central in 2014 and am planning to come back home for the summer :). Last summer I was a nanny full time (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) for a family with three crazy, fun (and busy!) boys ranging from 7 months to 5 years old and absolutely loved them! Their mother preferred that we spend less than 1 hour a day watching TV so instead we did crafts, played in the back yard, went to the pool, and occasionally went on other day trips (the library, Brookfield Zoo, Morton Arboretum etc.). In addition to this, the mother was home but was undergoing chemotherapy throughout the summer. Though she was at home, she was resting a majority Read more of the time. That said, other responsibilities I had involved helping her with her appointments, taking care of her, as well as cooking meals, cleaning, grocery shopping, and really anything else I could do to help her out. Fortunately she is doing well now and will not need help this coming summer! :) I also have experience babysitting for several other families with kids up to 13 years old and have experience helping at summer camps, day camps, Jr. High youth group, and tutoring elementary students.
