Hi my name is Patricia! I am a senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I'm majoring in speech and hearing science in hopes of pursuing Speech-Language Pathology. I am originally from Niles, IL and due to the COVID-19 virus, I will be remaining in Niles for the rest of the school year. I have had lots of experience working with children! I babysit an infant for about 4 months. I took care of all her essential needs (diaper changing, feeding, sleeping). During her nap time, I always performed household chores like cleaning, doing the dishes, and laundry, so I'm always willing to perform household chores or tasks that need to be taken care of. On top that, I also worked as a special recreational camp counselor for Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation (MNASR) for 3 years, where I worked one-on-one with individuals with disabilities ranging from age 8-21 Read more years old. This past summer, I took on the role of Assistant Site Director at Camp MNASR where I was responsible for supervising all campers and counselors, planning and facilitating activities and making sure every camper was having a fun and safe summer. At my university, I have been working at an early childhood day care center for the past 2.5 years, where I assist in a variety classrooms with kids ranging from infant to 4 years old. Previously at my university, I also worked at a local after-school program where I supervised and took care of about 10 kids ranging from ages 5- 12 years old. Due to my experience supervising a handful of kinds, I am willing to babysit for multiple kids of varying ages. I also have experience tutoring at a local elementary school in Champaing-Urbana, where I tutored a third-grade girl. I'm willing to work with kids of any age and ability! I ensure to not only take care of your children's needs, but to also make sure that they will have a great time!
