Hello! I am Sarah I am a 19-year-old special education major at Illinois State University. I am a very energetic person who loves to get active and have fun with the kids. I love to look up different activities on Pinterest like crafts, science activities and large motor activities as well as take children on field trips to ice cream parlors, parks, children's museums etc. to get out of the house if the family is comfortable. I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old for families with both children with special needs and no special needs. I have volunteered/ worked at Easter Seals Dupage lilly garden day care center for 4 years while I was at home. I also have been a nanny for a student who is 6 with down syndrome and another student who is 22 with a intellectual disability. I also have been a camp Read more councilor at NEDSRA for 15-22-year-old adults with intellectual disabilities. I have found my passion with working with a wide range of abilities and ages. I am looking forward to meeting new families. Will be taking a CPR certification class next semester.
